digital technology matariki project - blue bots

For matariki we learnt about stars. We made a special blue bot mat. On the mat we had QR codes and when you scanned them you learnt about the stars. The kids had to code the blue bots to get to the QR codes. We learnt that there are nine stars in the cluster and that each star has its own name and something that is connected to like the sea or the weather.

Iris and Dogstar	It’s a voyage out on the deep deep sea.	Them trying to get to Noumea.	Everyone dealing with throwing up all the time on the boat.
Tautai	A trip going far away from his menage.	He had to go to his grandma’s 60th birthday.	His friends called him stinky because of his name and how similar it was to the word.
Underground explorers	An expedition into the underground.	To take pictures of the inside of the mountain.	Moving around the wonky caves that are not meant for humans to adventure in.
